At the end of the season comes one of the most important, and sometimes intimidating, parts of growing them: lifting, dividing and storing the tubers that will become next year's plants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this hands-on atelier, we'll work together with dahlia clumps from the Fleuris garden as I take you through the process I use to prepare our tubers for winter and the following growing season.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou'll learn how to identify the essential parts of a viable division, find the eyes, make confident cuts and recognize which tubers are worth keeping.
